Allied Health Assistant (Occupational Therapy) Position

About the Role:
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will support our occupational therapist in delivering high-quality services to children and their families. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and rewarding paediatric environment while contributing meaningfully to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with implementing therapy programs under the guidance of qualified occupational therapists.
Build strong, supportive relationships with children and their families.
Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions.
Maintain accurate documentation of client progress.
Ensure therapy spaces are organised, clean, and welcoming.
Work independently and manage your time effectively.
Requirements:
Completion of at least the first year of an undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred).
A professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building meaningful connections with families.
Demonstrated patience and a child-centered approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
